Women Reservation Bill

Yesterday everyone was glued on T.V to see the proceeding of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the Bill, what all happened is known to everyone. This shows that it is difficult even now after such a long time. I feel it is better to agree on internal reservation for women from SC, ST and OBC, they too are women and their empowerment is necessary for true women empowerment.
I request all women (50%of Indian population) that to get united on this issue. Even if we are not given reservation or not given ticket from anypolitical party we will select and support an indipendent women candidate from every constituency and will vote for her. This is democracy and we have equal right.Publish Post

Can Women Reservation Bill Save Women – The Sufferer Gender

Can Women Reservation Bill Save Women – The Sufferer Gender

Women reservation bill is again on table after fourteen years and I want to know the opinion of rest of people on this issue.

I have few things in my mind which I will like to share.

1.Lets start from birth, it is a well known fact that female sex is biologically stronger than the male gender. it is seen that they reach development index faster than their twin brothers still the sex ratio goes in favor of males (1000:927).

2.Girls perform dual duty of helping their mother at home and studying, now their area of work has expanded because they know driving and are able to handle outer world and can perform works which were earlier reserved for their male counterpart.High School and intermediate results show that pass percentage of girls is higher than boys. Many a times it is seen that in co-ed school girl is topper or we can say that they are better in studies than boys. But when we go through the results of competitive exams Boys lead. WHY ?

3. In home front majority of events are managed by women she is considered the pivot of family but at the time of major decisons batten goes in the hand of male member of the family.

4.In case of politics, women are discouraged by their family in the biginimng, then they are discriminated at the time of giving tickets for elections , many a time they are given post under political strategy (qualities efficiency gets sidelined).

Why Reservation-

After fourteen years women reservation bill seeking 33 percent reservation in state legislature and parliament is again tabled, which is resisted by many parties supporting reservation of Sc, STs and OBCs in various competitive exams and services. It is seen that candidates in reserved categories often score higher marks than the unreserved categories, why this favor to them when they have reached the desired level.

As far as women is concerned their position si same irrespective of class to which they belong. They have inhibition which checks their growth and stop them from coming to public life specially politics, as a result of which opinion of fifty percent of Indian population remains unexpressed. A women playing very important role in the smallest unit of society i.e family can help alot by putting forward real needs people and fighting for them.

Women at M.P are having reservation in local body and are performing well now.So why not give 33% (to the 50% of population) if not 50% reservation to them.

Limited Exam to recruit more IPS Officers

This is with reference to the news in The Times of India . Government is p[lanning to appoint IPS Officers from governmeny servants already serving in armed forces and paramilitary forces. I think instead of conducting an exam for this purpose officers from these departments could be appointed on deputation (if required on higher posts), and young and fresh candidates should be appointed through civil services. Direct recruitment in All India Services was reduced in past due to which such kind of crisis is faced. It will be better to think rationally on this issue to avoid future crisis of this type in any of the government departments.
